Slow Food Gardens in Africa

A project by the Slow Food Foundation for Biodiversity

Slow Food Gardens in Africa is one of the projects currently being carried out by the Slow Food Foundation for Biodiversity.

With the aim of raising awareness among younger generations of the importance of food biodiversity and the access to fresh and healthy food, they have created thousands of vegetable gardens in African schools and communities.

This is a project that, in addition to its own food and nutritional objective, stands out for its social and cultural value, as a form of community cohesion.
